WELDING
MAG e TIG
Our company disposes of a MAG and TIG welding zone.
Welding is a process of metal joining that is very widely used. There are really a great many sectors in which a well-made weld is essential for a project or a work completed in a workmanlike manner.
MAG (Metal-arc Active Gas) welding is a process using continuous wire in which the welding bath is protected by a covering gas (active gasses used are generally blends of Argon and CO2). The fact that the procedure uses continuous wire guarantees a high yield of the method and, at the same time, the presence of the gas makes it possible to weld without producing waste.
TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding provides, as its name indicates, for the use of non-consumable tungsten, an infusible material. The gasses used in TIG welding are Helium and Argon.
TIG does not require continuous wire but requires that the operator produce a welded seam using a rod.
This is an arc welding procedure with an infusible electrode under the protection of an inert gas.
One of the main advantages of this technique is that the addition of material in the welding bath is not limited by the thermal contribution to the weld.
The importance of a job well done
There are many defects that a poorly made weld cannot hide. Insufficient application of heat during the weld, choice of the wrong distance, imperfect surface cleaning and many others. Everything has to be controlled and managed perfectly and we can assure you that we know the best way to do this.
